Sanyo HD3

So what is the HD3 going to be like, let's guess about potential possibilities based on our previous experience. It couldn't be an low noise senor, high latitude, without interpolation flickering of pixels, be very sensitive, use an descent data rate enough to handle complex scenes, have an wide aperture like f1.4 or f1.0, HDMI live output during filming so we can view shooting on an monitor live through HDMI wireless extender links, be able to surpass it's low end competitors for value. Maybe it will be an non mediocre release that has more than an 9mb/s h264 codec. Couldn't possibly be something that was water proof, or had an advanced model with hard drive.

Anybody else got any other suggestions?

A decent mechnical image stabilizer is a must as the current offering is next to useless.

Yes most definately both 25fps and 50fps for PAL users, also a 16:9 mode when shooting in SD, I cant believe the 720*576 SD mode is 4:3, Duuhhh WTF.

Get rid of the auto shut off option, or at least make it switchable.
Keep the memory on the zoom, don't reset it to zero every-time the camera shut down.

Focus While in Record

What a shame. I love my HD1a's but not being able to manual focus while in record AND no one push auto iris setting really hurts.
