4 Channel Audio

Both MVT 3.1b and scenalyzer capture all 4 tracks in one pass through firewire, no probs at all.

If i use MVT then I generally export to a premier project, and then open it up in premiere, but, when I drag the captured video onto the timeline, the video track only comes with one audio track, and I have to manually import the second wav stream onto the timeline.

If I use scenalyzer the outcome is much the same, I am using a RT2500 board, and use the RT2000 setting, and set it to capture the 2nd audio stream,it also captures all the 4 tracks in one pass, but when I drag the avi file onto the timeline in premier, only one audio track appears, it easy enough but tedious, to add the 2nd audio stream manually thereafter.

any thoughts much appreciated

To my knowledge there is no other way around it in Premiere.
It just doesn't load the other audio track. You might try the
demo of Vegas 4 to see if it does it.....

That is the way it MUST work. You have to manually place the second audio track. This is because you are adding TWO files to the project - not ONE (even though they both originated from the same video).

Thanks guys for your info.

Wasn't sure if the 2nd audio track could be added automatically or not.

Cheers
