ShuttlePRO worth getting?

Hi, just about done building my NLE, just wanted to find out if anyone using Vegas also has the ShuttlePro. Is it a good piece of equipment?

Thanks for the Input
Jeff

Jeff,

I'm using a Shuttle Pro with Premiere 6.5. Takes a bit of getting used to but works well. Short cut keys are all user definable so it offers lots of flexibility. I would have to say the quality is "good" not as solid as I would have liked but good feel and so far has held up well. For the investment, a good deal.

I like using it. In Vegas, the shuttle control gives you variable rate playback, and the jog dial gives you frame by frame navigation and event edge editing. If price is an issue, check out their ShuttleXpress, it's only got 5 buttons, and it's $60. Both are fully supported in Vegas 4 and other Sonic Foundry products.

For what it is worth, I'm very happy with my Shuttle Pro, although I use it with FCP. Works great.
