Inserting Crossfade between all clips on timeline automatically, how?

Hi guys,

In Vegas I can set "make cut to transition" and set the default length ( in Options->Preferences->Editing >

And then when I multi-add clips they are overlapped X seconds on the timeline... so far so good ;-) But I don't understand how to insert a standard X crossfade between all selected clips?

Right know I insert a default transition between the clips...and then right clicks that transition and changes it type...works, but there must be an easier/automatic way of doing this!

TIA!

Best regards,

Lasse

That setting can also be found somewhere in the preferences
screen I think. Automating tasks is possible through scripting
if you can do it.
