Anyone using Matrox RT.X2 with HVR-V1U on Vista?

First: I know, I know Vista isn't officially supported by Matrox yet, even with the ver 3.0 software (despite their initial announcement that it would, which is why I proceeded to upgrade to Vista early in the year), but I thought I'd throw this out there to see if anyone else has the same setup and actually has this working.

Matrox RT.X2 with ver 3.0 software/drivers
Premiere Pro CS3
Sony HVR-V1U
Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit

The V1U is detected in HDV mode without any problem using Premiere's native HDV capturing, but the Matrox AVI HDV capturing mode can't detect it as a firewire device. If I flip the camera to down-convert it detects it using Matrox AVI without any problem, but of course it then captures it as DV instead of HDV.

Anyone out there have a similar setup and actually have this working? Or perhaps encountering the exact same thing?
