XL1S preview at DVinfo.net

I am using scenalyzer to capture my dv material. when i view my material on tv with the RCA connection it looks good on the tv no grain no nothing.

When i press play on scenalyzer it stutters and audio drops out. When i look at the camera LCD viewer while it play i see that it is playing smooth with no jitter or stutter. the only way i get the tape material with no drop frames is when i ask scenalyzer to make an index fiel and let him get the frames based on selected scenes. When i try to capture with premiere 6.5 i get drop frames.

And to top it off the captured material all of a sudden have dots that are red,green and blue over the entire footage.

I used frame mode. I did a test on another tape that used normal mode and got the same drop frame effect , where the audio and picture freezes and plays whlie the xl1s keep playing smoothly.

Please give us a bit more information on your system. What
hardware do you have? Which operating system? Do you mix
different tape brands in your camera?
