Can studio 9 choose audio channel?

I'm using Pinnacle Studio 9 and I shoot with a Sony PD150. With the camera, I would like to capture audio on two channels, one set on manual and one set to auto gain as a safety net. Can Studio pick individual channels allowing me to choose one or the other?

Thanks, John

Does not look like it.

Perhaps there could be a audio effects plugin at some point...

Thanks for replying, plug-ins are a good thought.

Just so sad. If they have this function, it would be a good basic editor for professionals (like us). But I guess Pinnacle really want professionals go to Liquad Edition or whatever costing a lot more.

Of course, instead I got my Vegas.

I still like S8/S9 for editing 99% of the time. It is unclattered, I pay more attention to the actual footage than having to deal with a techno monster.
