Panasonic DVX100A NLE Q&A

Hi, I was wondering what would be the best NLE for 24p stuff? I'm mostly looking at Adobe Premiere 1.5 Video Collection and Final Cut Pro HD, but AVID Studio isn't totally out of the picture(unless it doesn't support 24p as well =P. So, what do you guys think?

Make yourself a favor and try Vegas 5...

Heh, no thanks, I'm trying to avoid Vegas because I see it as the Linux of the NLE world, the other's I'm looking at are the most widely supported and most often used. Plus, they have more third party plug ins and stuff, and now with the newer versions, Vegas doesn't have anything special that everybody else doesn't already have.

Ah! Maybe you should just make a one night "switch", to go a little bit beyond pure preconceptions?

ha! Nope ^_^ I'm firm in my belief. Anybody else want to lend me an opinion?

The right/ best NLE solution is the one that you feel most comfortable editing with. Get your self demos with all of them, and then decide whether you can work with it.

I guess posting this in the NLE PC forum you would need to go for an editing App that will run on it, so FCP will be out of the question.
