Computer to avi?
I'd like to create a DVD showing how to do certain steps of a program on a computer.
My only stumbling block is how to capture the computer's program to an avi file. Do I use some kind of conversion box from SVGA card to my camera's SVideo input of my camera? This is challenging for me so any advice would help. Thanks in advance! |
A lot of my clients use something called Camtasia.

CamStudio is freeware and does the job well. Available on many download sites.

Camtasia is the standard for where I work. I believe there's a 30-day trail that you can use. Also, take a look at Hypercam which is an inexpensive substitute (I believe it's around $30 USD for a license instead of $200+ USD for a full version of Camtasia Studio). Regards, Kyle "Doc" Mitchell |
