Firewire card??

HI
Could anyone tell me? I am working with Ulead Media Studio Pro 6.02. To this I have a Pyro firewirecard. This work together very good without any crasch. Now,I need a new card with analog input/output. The only cheap alternative seems to be bying a pinnacle Studio Deluxe version8.This included a firewire card with 2xDV in out and analog with exstension cable.
I would not work with this software, only with Ulead.Trying Adobe premier but this crasched the most of the time.
Sombody know this card work well with ulead???

Thanks per

There is another alternative.

Keep the FireWire card you already have, and consider an analog-to-digital converter, such as the Canopus ADVC-100:

http://www.canopus.com/US/products/advc-100/pm_advc-100.asp

Or the ADVC-50:

http://www.canopus.com/US/products/advc-50/pm_advc-50.asp

These converters will take an analog signal and convert it to digital, or digital to analog, and will work perfectly with your Pyro FireWire card. Canopus has dealers in your area. Check their prices as the USA site is listing full retail. Hope this helps,

Good move, I actually had Studio Deluxe and removed the AVDV board in favor of the Canopus AVDC-100, well worth the $300US. It does a great job of taking analog input and converting it to DV25. The image quality is excelletn and you remove any issues that the host PC may impact the analog to digital conversion. I have had mine 6 months and love it and use it all the time to convert analog to digital and then render to MPEG2 to put on DVD or VCD.
