Combining PAL and 24P Footage

I'm working with a PDX10P (PAL) and DVX100A (Ntsc) - what's the best way to combine footage from these two cameras? To shoot in 24PA on the DVX and then just deinterlace and slow down the PAL footage?

I'll be editing in Avid Xpress .
Thanks -

I'd say that depends on your final output format. NTSC or PAL. In both cases
it is far better to interpret the footage from 24 to 25 fps or the other way
around (and stretch the audio by 4%) then do a framerate conversion.
