does pinnacle compress my m2ts video?

Hello.

Question about Pinnacle Studio. I'm burning a project to a DL-DVD in the AVCHD format. All the files are m2ts. It's really slow compared to DVD Architect. Is Pinnacle compressing my m2ts files? Or is it just slow?

And no, I haven't tried rendering on an external drive yet. Will try that tonight.

Thanks,
Rich
