Best interpolation tecniques ?

Hi, I am looking for sone expert advoce in using Twixtor or simalr plugin to create extra frames for slow motion.

- if you plan to interpolate during editing, while shooting should you shoot soft images (1/50 shutter) or crisp images (1/200 or faster)... Obviously provided you got the light.

- is it better to interpolate at highest resolution available and then downsize to final output or interpolate at lower size (rendering speedis not an issue here) ?

- is it better to have all in focus or have a shallow depth of field?

- is it better to have a still camera and just the subject moving or moving the camera can help?

Etc... Any ither suggestion?

I don't know if this tutorial will answer all your questions, but it's a start. Google "twixtor tutorial" and you'll find several useful videos.

Here is another similar program (Kronos, by The Foundry) which you might like. I tried both demo versions and found Kronos somewhat easier to use, YMMV.
