Anyone Using Pinnacle Edition?

I'm currently using Premiere on my PC workstation, and I'm getting pretty frustrated with its limitations. I upgraded my Macs from Premiere to Final Cut Pro this fall, and have been very happy with the transition. Since FCP is Mac only, I'm looking for a similar editor to replace Premiere on the PC.

I've heard a lot of marketing hype about Edition, and I'm curious about any real world experiences with the product. Background rendering is a feature I would love to have, but are there any limitations that outweigh that benefit?

Thanks mucho!!

Pinnalce has a link ontheir sight and will send you a fully functional 30 day eval. It was interesting. The interface is very differnet. It appeared to be nice, but it is very slow because it is alwasy doing background rendering. If it were $200 product I might have gone for it, but at over $500 I went with Premiere 6.5 and also got Vega Video 3.0, both whcih I feel are better than Edition.

I've recently moved from Premiere to Editions and an finding Editions a total joy to use (and I never thought I'd ever say that about a piece of editing software.)

However it does have a few quirks that may annoy some users. I'd recommend Editions, but would add you really do need to try it before you buy to make sure you can live with its way of doing things.
