graphics card

I am collecting parts for my first home-built computer. I am going to be building a computer for video editing (Vegas), some gaming, some web surfing, and misc. other applications (Word, Excel, etc.).

I am interested in what graphics card any of you would recommend.

Stephan,

A good economical all around card would be the invidia 6600 made by xfx. you can spend a lot more and you go beyond the point of dimensioning returns. (note: chain tech has more problems with their cards)
I do not game so the 6200 xfx ( I may have got the xfx wrong but no problem for you to find it at tigerdirect.ca) works very well, though i read that for call of duty 2 and doom 4 (being played on line) you were better off going with the much more expensive cards.
