I apologize in advance for the slightly redundant question but I couldn't find this doing a cursory search (and believe me, it was cursory).

I'm itching to get editing but lack a project and/or footage to get started with. Could anyone provide some ideas or pointers that might help in that area.

I am aware of the usual sites for free footage but faced with so many options am finding it difficult to find a cohesive concept with which to work.

I've spent the last 12 months co-producing/editing an online television show, music videos and vignettes. I am looking towards working on a short self-made feature but would really like some raw footage with which to practice in the meantime.
