Jerky playback on 720p HD Videos???

Everytime I try to play some HD 720p video samples, its jerky, it skips a few frames and its like a slideshow?

Is it because I have a low end machine???
AMD 2100+ 1 GB RAM ???
I thought its not as bad...

or am I missing a codec to play HD videos properly???

Hi Conrad. It'll help sort things out if you can share with us what file format and what software are you using?

Hi Pete,

Any HD 720p videos (wmv, mov, etc...) (1280x720, 16:9 aspect) and I use Windows Media Player for wmv, mpg, avi's and QuickTime for mov's.

Thanks!!
