50 mbit formats
Does using a 50 mbit I frame mpeg2 format gain any advantage over other 50 mbit formats such as DVCPRO50?
Since most of the compression in mpeg2 is in the P and B frames does a I frame only mpeg2 have any other compression methods that make it better than DVCPRO50? What about with mpeg4? If a video is also encoded as a I frame 50 mbit mpeg4 file does it have any compression methods that it uses to make it better than a DVCPRO50 or similar format? For example would a mpeg4 I frame 100 mbit video look better than a DVCPROHD video file? |
