Nvidia Quadro FX 1400 Question

I am using the abovementioned video card and I notice it has what is called a 3 Pin mini-din stereo connector that resembles a video digital out connector. Is this to enable me to connect from the card itself right to a monitor without having to patch through my DV camera?
