A Good DV Camera.

Hey everyone,
I'm looking for a good camera that records in miniDV and isn't a "handy cam" or one of the hand held ones. I have a handheld now but my friends and I have been saving up to film a movie for Sundance we have a big budget (for us at least which is probably over 200.00) and we're looking for a pro camera now. Any suggestions for a pro camera that's at maybe $2,500 or below?
thanks!

Are you looking to get HD or SD? Will you be recording audio live? is low light important? will you be in abusive environments, Like mounting to the hood of a car?

Thanks John I'll look into it!

Also, I would like HD but either or is fine and we wont be using the audio of the camera because we got boom mics. It wouldn't be in any "dangerous" situations it would just be needed for a dolly, crane, and tripod.
