3x4 or 4x4 filters for this holder?

I recently purchased this shade/filter holder from Schneider:
http://www.schneideroptics.com/Ecomm...D=1460&IID=949

Schneider says it's made for 4x4 filters, but when I measure the dimensions, it appears a 3x4 filter would fit exactly...
The 4x4s would stick out of the top/bottom or the holder, (which bothers me and maybe it shouldn't)...

B&H sells a decent selection of 3x4 Tiffons, but 4x4s seem more readily avalible, (although the cost is slightly higher).

Thoughts? Any reason I should go with one or the other?
My only thought is 4x4s might be more flexible down the road with different set ups...

Thanks,
Bob

Bob,

This filter holder accepts 4x4 filters. We designed it intentionally to have a 4x4 stick out so that you could get the filter in and out more easily. I would not recommend putting a 3x4 filter in there as you have difficulty getting it out. If you would like, I can custom cut you a 3x4 or you can just order some of our new low cost high quality Century 4x4 filters.

Obvious, when you put it like that, thanks!
Should have just emailed you direct.
