HVX200 settings

720PN vs 720P vs 1080i?
it will be projected on big screen in the end.
what are the pros and cons of each?
are there HVX forums where people debate this ad nauseum?
so far I found a thumbs up for 1080 25p. does anyone challange this?

THANKS!

Try the P2 Camcorders sub-forum, under HD camcorders.

You can also check www.dvxuser(dot)com for comprehensive info on the HVX.

As for your question, and for blow up, 1080 25p is your solution. If you're shooting fiction, you can take time between dumping cards to prepare your set.

If, however, you're doing documentary, bare in mind that 1080 25p is 1gb per minute, which basically means 17 minutes with 2x 8gb cards.
