creative.video.co.uk Sponsor right?

Hi,

I'm just checking: I thought creative.video.co.uk was an official sponsor of Dvinfo.net, right? And at this moment the only European dealer on the sponsor list?

Because our company is thinking about buying a camera from them, and I said they are a very legit dealer because they are a sponsor here, but I've mailed them twice over the course of a couple of months, and in both cases, I never got a reply, which is a bit disconcerning if you are considering spending a couple thousands of euros...

Just want to check if they are legit, and my 2 mails that never got answered were bad fluke, and not the sign of a potential bad company... ?

Thanks,

Hi, I'm not sure if they are a sponsor but I bought my canon A1 from them and they are fine, they are not far from me and I picked it up and they made me a nice coffee while I waited :)

I don't think they're a sponsor. Videogear.co.uk IS a sponsor of this site though.

Creative are very good overall - they have a huuuge range - but postage is a bit steep for me as a non-professional. £50 postage on a new camcorder or tripod is understandable (insurance, special courier etc.) but £30-40 postage on something weighing a few grams is just silly! Email tends to be a bit of a "black hole", but they're very good on the phone. Delivery is very prompt.

Videogear charged postage at actual cost to Northern Ireland (i.e. realistic cost - which is rare! - most dealers charge extortionate postage) and their costs seem to be very reasonable to me. Delivery from Videogear is also very prompt.

Oh, I've probably confused videogear and creative video then! Thanks.
I'll check both of them again.
