Looking for a great VID PLAYER to embed into our website!!!!

I actually have several questions that are related. I am ready to start putting videos onto our website grizzlybrothers.com . I'm looking for a good high compatibility player that I can embed into our site without too much difficulty. embedded html code would be great.

We also need what file type would work best for down-converting and transferring to server, that would be quick and compatible.

I'm using iMovie and FCP Express. My footage has been shot with Canon XH A1 and uploaded into a quicktime mov file. 1 hour = approximately 12 Gbytes. I need to make smaller to show on our site. I would really appreciate anybodies help.

Thank You

This is a very easy player to set up using the setup wizard

As for making the file smaller you can compress it using sorenson squeeze or a number of other compressors but sorenson usually gives the best results.

You'll have to choose what format you want to post your video in, the most common ones are flash, quicktime or wmv. For best compatibility choose flash.

There's also this great video tutorial about putting video in websites

Another option is Flowplayer easy to install, has 'skinning' options that are easier than Jeroens player (for now).

Flowplayer looks pretty good actually, I didn't know about it before, thanks.
