The 1,2, 3's of broadcast

Okay, I've done a search and gathered most of the info I need, still have a few questions.

I've been approached to do a music vid. It will
most likely play on one of the minor league
cable music channels.

We'll be shooting with the XL-1, NTSC format -
editing in Final Cut.

The 1,2,3's I need answered:

1. Shoot & edit everything according to 4:3,
not 16:9, right?

2. Okay to shoot in Frame mode right?

3. Are slo mo scenes going to be a problem?
(doing them in FCP with speeds divisible of
33 & 66%.)

4. Any special color correction guidelines?

5. Dump the final product to BetaSP for the
network right?

6. Is the soundtrack on the vid cool to leave, AS IS from the original studio audio master?

7. The titling, (artist, songwriter, etc.) is
generated by the network or us?

Thanks so much - this is a different avenue
for us, and we just wanted to be able to
work intelligently.

First, if the video is being made for the network, get their guidelines and see what they want (Beta SP, etc.) They may also want you to have the graphics keyed and may also want 4:3 etc.

Frame mode should be fine. Color correct as needed, unless you're after a special effect (night time, foggy etc.) The sound track should be fine, just check the levels and make sure you don't get it out of phase. You may want to use After Effects for your slo mo work.

Check out the filters at revisionfx.com for slow motion stuff. joesfilters(.com) also has some filters.
