Looking for training books

Hi folks,

I'm trying to learn as much as I can about video and I would like to find some books on the topic.
I'm looking for books more on the technical side of things. Like learning how to read waveform/vectorscope montiors, learning the IRE scale, color correction ("timing"?), being able to calibrate monitors properly, etc.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Hi,

There are a few good books on the subject:

Amazon.com: Color Correction for Video, Second Edition: Using Desktop Tools to Perfect Your Image (DV Expert Series): Steve Hullfish, Jaime Fowler: Books
Amazon.com: The Art and Technique of Digital Color Correction: Steve Hullfish: Books
Amazon.com: Color and Mastering for Digital Cinema (Digital Cinema Industry Handbook Series): Glenn Kennel: Books

Good luck...
