What type of video should I use for the Canon HV 30?
Sony High Definition Minidv

I have used the std non HDV tapes for two years with no problems.
I think most HDV users just put in the std tapes.

Agreed - I only use Sony Premium tapes in FX1 or Z1 for HDV with no problems.
