using an ag-dv1dc with xl-1

has anyone ever done this, if so what kind of results are you getting? at 900 dollars, its the cheapest thing i can find, and i could also use it as an LCD for shoots... which could come in handy... any feedback would be welcome.

Jake,
That's not just an lcd; it's a complete portable deck. If you're just looking for a good external monitor take a look at Nebtek. Good people, excellent products. I often use a 7" Panasonic lcd with my XL1s.

yes i know

i know its a deck, i would be using it a both a deck and an lcd for the camera when shooting. i am a college cilm student and i am starting small, and like things that i can use as both. i can keep he ag-dv1dc attached while im shooting, and then use it to capture and eventually put to tape with it and my vcr for class... i was just looking to see if someone had used it with the xl-1 and gotten good results... either way...
thanx tho...
