what lighting kit / light setup - detailed help please
 

of course this has been brought up, did a search, blah, just asking again, checking for current promos etc. ;)

shooting weddings, conferences, documentaries, products, green screen,music videos and indy projects on minidv

have a $3,500 budget for ALL lighting related right now
the final budget is being worked on, and it is very possible it may grow for lighting, will know in a few days

have NO equipment whatsoever, so the kits can include bounce/reflectors/etc, or if better to purchase seperately

fairly ignorant of advanced lighting (painting)
was reading about HMI lights, i believe where the wattage is lower, but outputs more light than a regular bulb at same wattage



looking for any setup bargains you may have seen around, or if for sale.. only interested in mint condition

I recommend starting by reading a bit about the topic before spending. Good lighting is expensive.
