Big Iron, Big Batteries - Safety
Did you know that the largest of the Sony Li-ON batteries in V-Mount is considered a safety hazard and cannot just be taken on a commercial aircraft? Too much Lithium in one container.
The other two, smaller sizes have no problems. |
So how large can batteries be before they are considered a
safety hazard? |
Wow. The world is, indeed, getting ridiculous.
The smaller ones are BPL40 and BPL60, so I guess those would be "safe." All I use are 40s, and I've never had a problem. |
