Stock footage of earth Zoom?

Does anyone know where I can purchase a Royalty free stock clip of an earth zoom?

JUst for clarafacation. i'm lloking for the type of shot that you might see on a milatry show where a satellite zooms in on a particular city on earth. I want to use the clip as somwhat of a transition from one location to another. ANyone have any thoughts on where I can get this type of stock footage?

Google Earth Pro is used to make the kinds of shots you're describing, but it isn't royalty free- learn more here:

Google Earth

This NASA site also has content you might find useful but you need to find out copyright/permission before using as I think it varies depending on the specific media:

NASA Goddard Scientific Visualization Studio

Another alternative is to take one of the many high-res earth images available on the web, and zoom in/out to get from point A to point B.

Thanks Ben and Ray. Ray, I just looked at that tutorial and although I like the effect, its beyond the type of work that I typically do. I've searched the net but I cant seem to find royalty free stock footage of something similar.

Kevin, If you don't find what you want I did see a pretty easy one the other day...

All they did was film a map and put stick pins along the route... the pins went in one
at a time as it was showing the travel route... should be pretty easy and cheap

I know if you have a mac, In iMovie 09' there is a feature very similar to this where you put in a city, and then the destination, it will fly from one to the other and all the stuff like that. Maybe got to a Apple store nearby and do it real quick and then render and put it on a flash USB to take home?
