Differences between the Contour Shuttle Pro 1 & 2?

I'm looking at the Shuttle Pro and am wonderign what the differences are between the two versions. Version 2 has two more buttons but is that it?

If version 2 was larger than verison 1, that would be a plus. But I don't know if I care about the additional 2 buttons if that's all it is.

Anyone have any knowledge about these?

Thanks!

ver 2 is the same size. just two more buttons and the jogger is aluminum. if you can find ver 1 go for it.its much cheaper with no big differance. when i tried to order it, however, i was told it is no longer availible. so i have the ver 2

I went to the Apple store and they had the version 1 on display, but only had the version 2 to sell.

So I got a version 2.

So far I like it, but I think it's going to take me a while to get used to it.

I can see the benefits of this for editing but what do you use for a mouse for other apps?

Your mouse and the Shuttle don't cancel each other out. While the Shuttle does do some things in other applications (like scroll up and down in your browser, for example), I still use my mouse.

They won't conflict with each other if that's your question. Use 'em together.

I'm just getting used to mine too - just got my v2. I keep finding myself reaching for things that the shuttle can do - some mental re-training is in order.
