Frame Rates

I would like to know what frame rate the Canon GL2 shoots in, and can you plese explain to me the differences in 24p, 30p, 60i.

The Canon GL2 shoots in 60i.

24p = 24 full frames per second.
30p = same
60i = 60 half frmes interlaced.
