Firewire Expresscard can't send DV or HDV to camera

I just bought a $100 Expresscard to do some "On the road" video editing with my Tablet PC.

However, when trying to print BOTH DV and HDV. Vegas 7 or any other program freezes and I even had a BSOD once! And this applied to all my cameras so the problem could be the card itself.

What can I do to troubleshoot? Google has no answers to this!

Edit: I'll try to give as much information as possible, The chipset inside the Expresscard is a LSI L-FW643 and the model number of the card is EC13941A1B

I also just double checked that the card can actually send data using an external HDD and it still can.
