Need Help with a sony bvw-400a at DVinfo.net

We have two dsr 300's, and were looking for more cameras. I've come across a bvw-400 for $400, but I'm not familiar with it. how would it campare to our dsr's or say a bvw d600 (which I'm familiar with).

It's a step down from the d600 but still a very nice and respectable camera.
