Stacking a filter between Cam & Telephoto?

I'm about to order both an UV, & Circular Polarizer filters for my camcorder with 37mm front threads. Will I be able to attach a 37mm wide angle, or telephoto lens to the front of these filters, with the filter sandwiched between the camcorder, and the wide angle, or telephoto lens. Or do I have to get another set of larger 52mm filters for the front of the wide angle, & telephoto lens?

You can usually stick a UV filter between a basic lens and an add-on lens. But, the main purpose of it, for lens protection, is not needed with the extender attached. The filter might also increase any problem with vignetting at the corners, that is common with add-ons at certain parts of the zoom range. Most add-on lenses don't have threads on their outer rims for attaching filters. You might be able to improvise a means to attach filters to them, as I often have, as well as a lens hood. I've used black hose-bandage tape (a super type of duct-tape), shoe-goo and JB-Weld (epoxy putty), to gerry-rig all sorts of non-standard attachments to lenses.
