Threads being deleted Chris?

Did a few posts get deleted?
A few of mine are missing and my user name changed back to Quantum productions. Not sure what happened.

I would guess that the missing posts were lost during the Great Crash of 2002. No, not the stock market's; our server's. Last week the shack burned down for a day and we lost approximately a week's worth of posts, not to mention approx. 30 new user registrations.

Sorry, I didn't see Chris' post about it from July 12, 2002.

About 600 posts, some of them yours Adam, were vaporized last week on Black Thursday. Your name change also bit the dust. I'll fix it for you again when I get home from MacWorld.

I do have a record of who we lost as new users, and will e-mail them with an explanation when I get home.

And what became of the longest running thread - the XL-1 imaging problem - aka - the black bar thread?

The thread's still there but, like all other threads, we lost posts made to that thread during the several days previous to the crash.
