Are Anton Bauer batteries worth the cost?

I'm considering getting a Hytron 50 and a Gold Mount for my XL1s. Are they worth the asking price? What are some advantages to this type of power supply over Lithium-Ion varieties??

I use the Sony Lithium-Ion V-mount batteries and am very happy with them. They are 1/3 the weight of the equivalent Anton-Bauer. I don't know what type of mount your camera has, but the added weight of the Anton-Bauer (assuming all of them are heavier than others) might be good, since the XL1 is kind of nose heavy. I have 6 of the Sony BPL40's, and just bought two additional BP65's to power the monitor on a new Hollywood Lite Running Rig. Interesting that the 65's are only 10 bucks more than the 40's ($299 vs $289) now, and they're only a couple of ounces heavier and maybe a quarter inch thicker.

Jody, you may want to also consider the Anton Bauer Dionic 90's, these are the same size and shape as the Hytrons but are Lithium-Ion batteries, thus they will last longer (and are lighter also). Check out their web page for more info.
