Broadcast Quality LCD Screen?

Folks - I need to buy a good LCD screen for use with XL-1. There are so many at Markertek - Marshall, Panasonic, Delvcam - anyone have any experience with any of these? Or would you recommend something else. Also, anyone out there using the MixPre by Sound Devices or the ME66? Thanks - Jim

Top link is one of the best ones you can get, I highly recommend it. If on a budget, go with the bottom link.

Thanks John. I'd read good things about the Panasonic.

From an old Engineer...there is no such thing as a broadcast quality LCD display. The closest things we recommend here are the Apple Cinema Displays. Be very prepared for sticker shock...

The color resolving, bad contrast ratios, pixel count and shape all make up the display and cannot yet match a tube. No real Engineer will ever tell you to use any LCD panel for critical viewing. Colors will be off and you will see artifacting as well as slow response from the individual pixels, etc.

On the other hand, if you just want to use them for composition, Marshall and DelvCam are some of the better on camera viewfinder types.

You can find DelvCam at the sponsores web site, B&H as well as TecNec and Markertek.
