Varizoom TFT Power

Hey guys, this is my first post so if it's in the wrong place, my bad. I have a Varizoom TFT monitor and one of their little battery packs for it. It's a neat idea, but the battery pack is only rated for about 3 hours and I need quite a bit more out of it. Does anyone know a 12V battery that I could hook up to this bad boy and make it run for awhile (8 hours or so)? I could buy another varizoom battery but i'd rather hook up one battery if possible. It's coming on a shoot with me 4 days from now so I need a somewhat quick solution. For now I will continue to design my solar powered contraption (or in other words take a nap :)

Hey Pat!
Welcome to the forum!

I rigged 2 6v lantern style batteries to power my monitor. Very easy to do, with about $3 in parts from Radio Shack. I'm not sure how long they last, but over 3 hours for sure.

That's a great idea! Do you know any place I could get rechargeable 6v lantern batteries? I've been checking online for a few and haven't anything just yet.

I've never seen any, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. If you find any, let me know.
