Reflecmedia + Teleprompter

I heard you can't use a traditional thru-the-lens teleprompter with the Reflecmedia ring lite in front of the lens. So what if you just mount the ringlight on another camera right next to the one with the teleprompter? Ofr what if you mount it elsewhere like above the camera?

Re: Reflecmedia + Teleprompter

The light has to be in-line with the lens or "coaxial" with the lens. Maybe you can create a light source that will go above and below the teleprompter?

If this doesn't work, conventional green screen works extremely well.

I have been doing this for a couple of years and the results are near-perfect. I use a greenscreen from EEFX.com along with After Effects and Primatte. Shot with a Sony EX1 and recorded to a stock SxS card.
