Memory chip organizers

I'm curious what people use to store their memory cards during a day's shoot. With multiple cameras, you can wind up with quite a few memory chips to keep track of. Do you just keep a 'wad' of them in you pocket or do you have some type of storage case of some sort to keep them in. These chips are so small it scary - too easy to lose.

Re: Memory chip organizers

Which type, specifically? Compact Flash, Secure Digital, Express Card... etc.?

There are different solutions for different types... such as this one for Express Card:

Re: Memory chip organizers

Thanks Chris. I should have been more clear. I use SD cards. Ideally it would be nice to have something that holds eight or ten in a single case.

Re: Memory chip organizers

I have them numbered sequentially and put them in an anti-static bag within a Ziploc. I'm all, like, high-class n stuff.

Re: Memory chip organizers

If you have a system that works for you, that's what matters.

Re: Memory chip organizers

I use those Pelican cases too, they're great. VERY rugged. Actually, almost all of my camera equipment is in one Pelican or Nanuck case or another
