Can someone with a little knowledge take my video off of Vimeo and make it his own?

Thanks!

Re: Vimeo

Make sure you go into settings and unchecked allow others to download.

Re: Vimeo File Downloading

Not good enough I'm afraid Khoi!

To answer the OP.....Yes... very, VERY easily using any number of FREE web video download software packages that are easily found via Google for capturing YouTube, Vimeo etc. videos.

The "Do not allow download" option (for e.g. when you set-up the uploaded video page on Vimeo) has no blocking effect with this type of software (I know as I've tested it on my own material to see what's possible!)

What they capture is the EXACT same quality as Vimeo or YouTube etc. is capable of displaying (i.e. even full 1080p with YouTube).

Of course, once they have the video file on their computer they could (potentially) do anything with it that they want to "make it their own", as you put it, which might include re-editing sections, chopping off the end credits and replacing with theirs and so on.

This is why I near enough watermark everything (and that includes just plain old pictures) that I put on the web nowadays.
