Logging Question
I've been trying to find a good simple way to log video that's been recorded with a clip based workflow.
Everything is shot on EX3 and loaded into an Editshare unit, which producers have access to. What's the best program out there for a producer to look at all the clips and log them scene by scene and/or word for word? In a tape workflow, it was simple. Load your tapes into a program like Digital Heaven's Movielogger and log away with time code and a description. You could export an XML and everyone was happy. Now with so many clips being shot and labeled the same (with only the number of the clip changing) it's a little confusing. There are now 150+ clips on one "tape" a.k.a. "card". We still do a lot of paper editing so a good logging program is essential to how we operate. I'm just having a hard time finding a good solution. Thanks in advance for any help. _________________ |
