Using Color Charts and Bars on Multi-Camera Shoots
For multi-camera shoots, using for example a Newtek Tricaster video switcher, what is the "standard" protocol, if there is one, for color balancing the cameras involved? Specifically, apart from using the appropriate lighting setup and custom white balancing using the same card on all the studio cams, is it useful/relevant to use a color chart to compare the color on each camera input?

Re: Using Color Charts and Bars on Multi-Camera Shoots
Before each shoot, white balance all cams then run 60 secs of bars and tone on each camera from that cams generator, then run the same from the switcher to all cams.
Then you're covered in post. Cheers. |
