Grass Valley Infinity.. Any experience?

I recently bought a 2nd hand Grass Valley Infinity.. For some reason (pbb weight, price and slightly noisy sensors) they never became very popular, despite there being quite a buzz about them..

Does anyone here have experience with them? I haven't been able to find much about who uses them.. I did see one in the background of a show on Discovery HD. They have a lot of neat features (maybe too much features?).. but being a typical Grass Valley the menu structure takes a bit of getting used to..

This is mine:

If memory serves, Thomson bought Grass Valley a number of years ago. They were certainly a player in the studio camera game, especially on large sports remotes. I would ASSume that the cameras are rebranded Thomsons.

Good pedigree, no doubt.

Well, they're still a big player in the studio camera game, I work with them daily (not as a cameraman though).. It is badged as a GV Thomson..

The pedigree is pretty obvious in the camera, as in it has pretty much the same menu structure as the LDK100 and LDK6000/8000 series.. It's also obvious in that it has a lot of nice features most cameras today don't have.. and it lacks a few features as well..

Was just wondering if they actually sold more than a few worldwide..
