Elura 2MC

Question for anyone who knows....I used to be able to record tv programs on my Elura 2MC using analog in with the supplied cables. Recently I tried it again, and it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I set the camera to VCR, hookup the video outputs from the tv, connect them to the camera and set the camera to analog in. I'm not even getting the signal. Any idea what's up? Thanks a lot for your help in advance.

Have you tried a new cable? If you've done it before and your set-up the same way, either the cable is broke or the camera is malfunctioning.

The cables are connected to the AV-out plugs on the VCR? Maybe you have to set the VCR? Could be lots of things....

I would theorize that the Elura needs to be setup like a GL1 for analog recording...

a.) only the analog cable is connected. DV cable HAS to be disconnected.

b.) camcorder has to be in REC/PAUSE mode for an image to appear on the LCD
