Problem uploading to Vimeo

Hi, all of a sudden I cannot upload a video to Vimeo Pro. I have tried several videos that I have previously uploaded, I have re-rendered videos, I tried the pause/continue button, I have tried several browsers, ie explorer and Chrome. I have never had this problem uploading a video. Any suggestions? Bob

Re: Problem uploading to Vimeo

Can you provide a bit more info about the nature of the problem? Any error messages?

no error messages. It gets to 41% and freezes. I have tried several different videos and all freeze at a different percentage.

Re: Problem uploading to Vimeo

You may want to try FTP to take the brower out of the equation.

From Vimeo:

How do I use FTP to upload videos to Vimeo?
Only Vimeo PRO members can upload videos with FTP. If that's you, head to the Upload page from the menu or the Upload a Video button on your feed. You'll see "FTP" as an option under the "Other Ways to Upload" heading — click it, and a box will pop up with the FTP server address, your username, and a temporary password that will work for 48 hours (it's just as precious as your Vimeo login and password, so be sure to keep it secret). Enter that info into the FTP client of your choice, and you're ready to upload.

Re: Problem uploading to Vimeo

Have you restarted your PC or Mac?

Weird browser issues are sometimes OS network issues, and lots of people don't restart much...

FYI, I uploaded an hour-long program to Vimeo Pro last night, behaved normally.

Re: Problem uploading to Vimeo

I ended up by having to upload to dropbox, then from there to Vimeo. I sent a text to Vimeo to try and see what my problem is. Thanks for all the suggestions. Bob
