Best gimbal and lenses for the iPhone 6 ...

I work in the fireworks industry, live in Hong Kong and travel all over the world in the course of business. Talking to industry leaders and masters of the craft. Visiting factories, events, festivals and competitions.

Surrounded by so many amazing shots and stories, I need a camera that's on me 24/7 and ready to shoot in seconds ... often edited and uploaded on the spot.

Lately, my EX1, 5D and BMPC have been sitting idle, while my iPhone 6 has been recording more and more footage that makes it to our blog and social media.

It's strange to say ... but my iPhone 6 has become my primary camera (and editing system) and I'm looking to get better shots out of it.

I recently went to an event with a friend who was using a quad-rotor to get aerial shots of the fireworks, fitted with a GoPro and a gimbal for stabilization. I immediately thought, "Hey, I wonder if they make a hand-held gimbal for my iPhone?"

Low and behold, they do!

However, it seems like the all the handheld smartphone gimbals I find are more like toys than pro gear (which is not really surprising). It also seems like the larger crop of smartphones won't work with some gimbals because they're too heavy and the gimbals motors can't handle them. Causing this distracting jitter/wobble.

Does anyone know of a "pro" smartphone gimbal? Something with good build quality and better features that that can handle a bigger phone?

Also, what's the deal with these clip on iPhone lens adapters? Like the wide angle, fisheye, macro and telephoto adapters? Are any of them worth buying?

It seems tough to find really good (technical) reviews online for this stuff, because they're not really considered "pro" gear.

Any info would be appreciated.
