Looking for vectorscope with 2x gain

I need a vectorscope with 2x gain setting for use with my DSC CamAlign chart. I currently use a Hamlet scope but it only has 1x and 3x. I tend to increase the master saturation level in my camera when aligning it, but as you know, some colors stretch at different ratres, so not a good solution. Would prefer something less than $20,000! Anyone have a recomendation for a cheap used model I could search for online? Would need to be able to take 720p HD-SDI signal.

As a side thought, my cameras will also spit out standard composite video as well via BNC, maybe using that as a get by with an older and even cheaper scope would work for me.

Have you tried scopebox?

you can select 2x for the DSC charts.

Works fine for me and a lot less than $20K

Dear Paul,

I am Dan Keaton, and I work for Convergent Design.

Our Odyssey7, Odyssey7Q and Odyssey7Q+ all include a Vectorscope.

Yes, you get precise fixed gain of 1.0x, 2.0x, 5.0x, 10.0x and 15.0X

And you get variable gain from 1.0x to 15.0X in 0.1x increments.

This Digital Instrument also includes an Analog Vectorscope Display mode.

The Inputs accept, HD, 720, 1080, 2K, Ultra-HD and 4K.

This is a very good Vectorscope, and you also get a 7.7" OLED Monitor and Recorder.

These devices do not accept analog video, nor Standard Definition, just HD, via HD-SDI or HDMI, plus 2K, UHD and 4K.

I hope this helps.

Respectfully,

Dan Keaton

... and they're all well under your price threshold!

Thanks Dan! A coworker has a 7Q he uses with his FS700 and GH4. I will have to plug into it one day and see how well the vectorscope works. Might be a solution, and also allow me to shoot 4K with my soon to be purchased A7s as well. :-)

I had previously purchased a $300 Lilliput monitor just for it's tiny vectorscope.

Paul
